I am so happy to inaugurate this blog. I have been wanting to create this blog for a very long time. I want to talk about all the challenges we are going through while running our little small business Life Without Plastic, the funny and the sad parts, but also our ideals, our vision. There are lots of ups and lots of downs, but we feel very compelled by what we are doing and would start over again anytime!
For now, let me just introduce myself. I am co-founder of Life Without Plastic with husband and business partner, Jay. We will be both writing on this blog from time to time.
We live in the beautiful community of Wakefield, Québec, Canada (you may read this magazine article on Wakefield for an overview)

I'm excited to learn more about living without plastic. It's frustrating to me that EVERYTHING is packaged in plastic. I can't help but wonder about all the plastic surrounding our food...is it safe?
